Aircraft Spins Out of Control into Palm Groves at Well-Known California Beach
A chopper soaring near a well-attended California shoreline abruptly began spiraling out of control, ultimately dropping height and plunging into a line of palm groves as spectators watched.
Recordings shared online show the aircraft beginning to twirl over Huntington Beach then descending towards the perimeter of the beach, where it becomes wedged between palm groves and a steps adjacent to the shoreline route.
Rescue Operation Details
Emergency responders stated five people were rushed to the hospital comprising a pair who were in the aircraft and were “rescued from the debris” subsequent to the crash on the weekend.
Three persons on the road were injured. Specifics on their condition were not immediately available.
The cause of the crash was still under investigation.
